Duncan United Church youth group meets Friday nights during the school year for fun and friendship. Keep an eye on the Youth Group Calendar of Events for meeting dates and other special events for youth groups and our wider church community.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to bring a friend. Joan Barwise and John Close coordinate our Children and Youth Ministry and may be contacted through the church office (746-6043) for further information about the groups or about the schedule of events.
TGIF stands for "Thank God It's Friday". This group is for anyone who is in Grades Four to Six. Some of our favourite activities are:

Every year, usually in the Spring, young people in Grade 8 and up are invited to join our minister for Youth Confirmation program. During these sessions you will explore your faith and what it means to belong the United Church. At the end of this special time together, if you choose, you will be welcomed as a full member of Duncan United Church and the United Church of Canada.

Camp Pringle- our own church camp at Shawnigan Lake. Both TGIF and Gen-X join together for a great weekend camp in early February - and - there are lots of other opportunities for young people to enjoy a camping experience at Spring Break and during the summer!
